The Colt M4A1 is an automatic arm of the basic M4 Carbine, and was normally designed for special operations. However, the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) was soon to adopt the M4A1. Colt M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 Carbine is a 5.56×45mm NATO, air-cooled, gas-operated, direct impingement, magazine-fed, select fire carbine. It has a 14.5 in barrel and a telescoping stock.
